Ashley Tison, Esq., is a tax strategist, entrepreneur, and founder of OZPros, a leading advisory firm focused on Opportunity Zones and advanced tax-efficient investing. Through OZPros, he has helped investors defer or reduce over $1 billion in taxes, with more than 1,000 Opportunity Zone entities set up. A magna cum laude graduate of UNC Charlotte and the UNC Chapel Hill School of Law, Ashley draws on his background as a real estate and securities attorney and fund counsel to build practical, audit-ready strategies, and he is a member of the Novogradac Opportunity Zones Working Group. Known as the "OZ Sherpa," he is a sought-after voice on Opportunity Zones, tax-efficient exits, and the transition to the permanent OZ 2.0 program.

Ashley Tison, Esq., is a tax strategist, entrepreneur, and founder of OZPros, a leading advisory firm focused on Opportunity Zones and advanced tax-efficient investing. Through OZPros, he and his team have helped investors defer or reduce over $1 billion in taxes, with more than 1,000 Opportunity Zone entities set up, while channeling capital into projects that create real community impact.
A magna cum laude graduate of UNC Charlotte and the UNC Chapel Hill School of Law, Ashley spent years as a real estate and securities attorney, fund manager counsel, and operator across multiple businesses before building OZPros into a one-stop shop for Opportunity Zone strategy, fund design, and compliance. He is a member of the Novogradac Opportunity Zones Working Group and works daily with investors and sponsors working through the transition to the permanent OZ 2.0 program, including the December 31, 2026 recognition date and the new designation cycle.
